APi Sound & Visual Help Host Conference

Broadclyst Community Primary School recently hosted ‘Decoding the Future’, a ground breaking education conference including both physical participation and attendance via Skype.

APi’s role at the event was for webstreaming and recording of the proceedings, sound reinforcement and displays, as well as live interactivity on social media.

The first keynote speaker was Anthony Salcito, Vice-President of Microsoft Education. Other speakers included Jonathan Bishop, Headteacher of Broadclyst Primary School and Sir David Carter, Regional Schools Commissioner for South-West England. The conference debated the future of education and focus on creating a world-class education system.

100 physical attendees were joined through Skype with virtual participants in Europe and the US.

They were able to participate fully by posting live into the keynote speeches and participating in the discussions through Skype Conference Chat and Twitter.
