Church Hearing Loop Systems
A church hearing loop system provides a significant benefit to those with hearing aids by allowing them to directly receive clear audio through their devices, reducing background noise and improving their worship experience. This system is particularly helpful in large sanctuaries where sound clarity can be a challenge due to tricky acoustics.
However, in situations where a traditional church hearing loop system may not be feasible, alternative assistive listening options like infrared or wireless transmission systems are excellent solutions. These technologies transmit sound to personal receivers, making them ideal for churches with complex layouts or materials that interfere with traditional loop installation.
We are starting to see the introduction of a brand-new low-energy Bluetooth technology which is set to become the standard in church hearing loop systems over the coming decade, but for now, the fixed loop of cable around the building is still the preferred method.
APi Sound and Visual will advise and create the most efficient installation for your congregation, whilst still considering the overall impact on the building. We can supply the equipment as part of a full package or you may wish to add a loop to an existing system to comply with equality legislation. All of our engineers have been trained to correctly design and commission a church hearing loop system to maximise the benefit provided when one is installed.
