Church Live Streaming Systems
Live streaming systems in churches were not common across the UK until the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 when people were not allowed to attend services in person. The only way to keep congregations connected even when in-person gatherings were not possible was with the installation of a church live streaming system. APi was incredibly busy fitting these systems in the period after restrictions on travel had been eased, and we have now completed hundreds of successful projects.
Since the pandemic, streaming services online has remained important as churches can reach members who are unable to attend, whether due to health concerns, travel, or other reasons. What’s more, when a church live streaming system has been fitted, weddings and funerals can be broadcast around the world to friends and family who have moved abroad or live too far away to make the occasion in person.
PTZ (Pan-Tilt-Zoom) cameras have become the most common option for live streaming, as they offer flexibility in capturing high-quality video from multiple angles without the need for extensive manual control or several cameras throughout the church. This technology ensures that churches can continue to engage and support their communities, both locally and remotely. With the addition of a feed from a visual system (if installed), anyone joining online will get the same experience as a member of the congregation physically in the church building.
As with all of our systems, we place ease of operation and reliability at the top of the list when it comes to equipment specifications. We have created a custom control interface for users to interact with, giving a simple way of controlling the camera positions, starting and stopping the stream and controlling which input is broadcast through the church live streaming system.
