Laser projectors are perfect for school environments due to their almost instant on/off time, needing no warm-up or cool-down period, but also thanks to their long runtime without requiring major maintenance; generally you can expect around 10,000 hours of use before a laser projector will start to degrade in terms of brightness and image quality. In that same timeframe, you will have replaced the lamp in a traditional lamp projector around 5 times, adding cost and downtime.

For large spaces such as school halls, school projection systems are crucial for displaying notices, presentations and even school dinner menus on a larger screen size than would be economically feasible using a large format flatscreen display. Typically, 3m or 4m widescreen projector screens can be installed in school halls and sports halls, giving a large viewing area for the hundreds of students who will be congregated in the space at the same time for assemblies and other events.
