When a refurbishment was being planned for St Benedict Church, Glastonbury, APi Sound & Visual were approached through our relationship with church architects Chedburn/Dudley.
We were asked to supply a high-level projector and a screen which could descend from behind the chancel arch, on a winch system and yet not be visible from the Nave when not in use. This we did.
We further made recommendations to improve the sound system as we felt that the refurbishment was an opportunity to conceal all the necessary cabling. A rack cabinet was built into storage cupboards at the rear and a subwoofer was fitted high, beside the organ to conceal it from sight.
